New tenants William and Mary Mukiti Ndeme, with MP David Smith and Community Benefit Society committee members outside the Fishers Arms Community Pub
After a long search, the Fishers Arms Community Pub is delighted to welcome new tenants William and Mary Mukiti Ndeme, who will now take over the business and the day-to-day running of the pub.
William is a professional chef and, together with Mary, brings a lifetime of experience in the hospitality industry. We wish them every success and hope they will build on everything that has already been achieved and take The Fishers to a new level.
After the pub was saved by the community in July 2022 and underwent a year of refurbishment, it reopened in December 2023. Since then it has been operating with a mix of paid and volunteer labour, alongside a wide range of community activities and pop-up dining events that have helped keep the pub vibrant and sustainable.
The Fishers Arms Community Pub continues to offer a wide range of food, two letting rooms, and a varied programme of community events. For the latest information, please visit the Fishers Arms Community Pub website.
